Hello Cedarhurst!
Happy Spring. Boy was that a long winter! It’s been a while since I have communicated with you and that is mostly because of my intense work schedule as a tax accountant. Frankly I did find being president extremely difficult during the last 4 months while I had to put my company first and everything else on the back burner including Cedarhurst. None the less I am back in the swing of things and ready to get down to business.
We are going to need your help for Dock in and Cedarhurst clean up day. I believe in the past we would call it Beach clean up day but in addition to the beach I would also like to make sure we clean up the circle at the fork in the road at Spring Trail and the hill on Algonquin trail which is filled with garbage and old water pipes. Does any one have a battery operated sawzall? If you do we need your help on Algonquin Trail!
Please Sign up on the Doodle poll so we know how much help we will have: Copy and past this into your web browser:

Lastly, the winter was not very kind to our roads and its the obligation of the town to upkeep them. However they will not upkeep them if they don’t feel there is a problem. Every homeowner and resident that drives or walks on these roads should file a complaint to the town to get them repaired. Here are the two individuals that you should contact and express your frustration with the deterioration of the roads in Cedarhurst. Please contact Dan Rosenthal and Fred Hurley at the Fairfield Hills town office.
Thanks,
Chris Pace
