Hi Everyone,
It is that time of year again that we get to turn the corner on the cold, dark winter days and look forward to the glorious days at the lake again! With that being said — we have a day for docks going in! The docks will go in on April 29th, starting at 10 a.m. The beach and docks are an amazing asset of our community and really serve as a hot spot for our community all season long. This marks a great turn in the seasons.
Please meet up at the beach around 10 a.m. and assist if you can – plan to arrive ready to start at 10 a.m. We will have coffee and treats available at 9:30 a.m. for those that gather early. If we get enough people, we can get this done quickly! We do need volunteers and at least one person willing to wear a wet suit and assist in the water!
As a reminder, if you have a boat docked you should make plans to assist or send someone in your place. This event is coordinated by Matthew Dickie and safety is our top priority at all times during this day.
In addition — on May 6th we will be gathering for Beach Clean up. In the past we have always done both things on the same weekend, but we are trying something a little different this year. If you can make Beach Clean up — please plan to arrive at the beach around 10 a.m. and we will work as a team to clean up and get ready for an amazing season!
