Hello Cedarhurst Members,
Hope you are all enjoying the end of summer and ready to welcome in the Fall. I am ready to drink some apple cider and enjoy the fall colors on our beautiful lake.
As many of you are aware I am the newly elected Cedarhurst President. My goal is to continue the amazing work that Bruce has achieved over the last 6 years.
Our community is in great shape with many of our larger projects coming to an end. But the work to keep Cedarhurst running and beautiful is never ending. Without the volunteering efforts of our board and committee members it would be impossible to keep us a healthy functioning private community. So, thank you to everyone involved!
We are always looking for new members to join a committee. Please consider being apart of the team and helping our efforts while making friends. Our committees include: Finance, Projects, Social, Bi Laws, Gardening & Beautification, Website and Communications and lastly our Roads committee.
If you are interested in any of these committees, please let me know.

Our Docks Out date will be October 17th. Anyone with a boat will need to remove it from the docks before this date. Last year we had organized a boat out date as well. Hopefully we can do that again for anyone needing assistance with pulling their trailers off the sand. More on that to come soon.
Our first board meeting of this new fiscal year will be held on October 7th at 6 pm at my home. I would have liked to extend the invitation for all residents to attend but due to Covid concerns this meeting will be limited only to board members.
I would like to offer a Meet and Greet for all residents that would like to meet me. Weather permitting, I will be down at the beach on Sunday October 3rd at 5pm for about an hour or so. Come down to just say hello. Come down to let me know your ideas for making Cedarhurst even better. Come down to learn more about our 7 committees. Or just come down to keep me company.
