Hi Everyone,
The Lake season is in full swing! The board met on early this month to discuss the happenings within our little lake community! We discussed a host of items that impact all of us, but the highlights included our upcoming association picnic which is going to be catered and held on July 20th down at the lake – be on the look out for more information! Also – as you will notice we have replaced the stairs going down to the beach from Algonquin Trail – they look great and are open for use. New rails will be installed shortly, but we wanted them open for the Holiday weekend! We did outsource this work, but the committee worked hard in selecting the most competitive and comprehensive vendor! In addition to this, Matt and a couple association members worked hard on replacing some of the boards on our docks – thank you Matt!! We also placed new signage down by the beach outlining some of our general rules based on our association handbook and in hopes to keep everyone safe.
It really does take a village to get all this stuff done! We have no shortage of work to get done! If you are interested in helping out with anything, please let me know.
A couple key dates to remember:
- Next board meeting is on June 12th at 7pm – if you would like to join for member comments, please let me know or let another board member know. The meetings are held at my home at 7pm at 63 Algonquin Trail.
- July 20th at 4pm – SAVE THE DATE for our summer picnic! More details to follow, but please circle the date and plan to join us for this wonderful catered event! If you want to help plan an amazing picnic, please let me know and we will be sure to include you on the social committee!
Finally – if you have not done so already – please remember to submit your payment for your annual dues. I am attaching a copy of the invoice for your view.
